SENSE requires a relational database for connection, but it can connect to a variety of database types (e.g. Databricks, Redshift, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL). Generally, any database that employs the JDCB driver should be compatible with SENSE.
For non-conventional databases, work with GovTech to get your database connected to SENSE.
Conceptually, it is possible, but SENSE would still need to connect to your database for your database to receive the SQL statements for execution.
Together with your query, the metadata and the datafield/column descriptions are sent to the underlying LLM cloud service to be translated into a meaningful SQL statement. However, none of the data within your database is sent to the LLM.
SENSE gives you the following outputs:
- An LLM-generated SQL statement, showing clearly the datafields used;
- An LLM-generated explanation of the SQL and the underlying methodology;
- An LLM-generated suggestion of possible next steps;
- A data table that shows you the data you need, which is not LLM-generated; and
- A CSV table that contains the data you need for download.
Those components not generated by the underlying LLM are not sent to the LLM in any way.
The system classification is Restricted and the data classification is Sensitive HIGH.
MOH and GovTech are onboarded to SENSE.
