FAQs

Can I use SGTS Products if I have not provided a Digital Governance Platform (DGP) ID?

Yes. However, you must register the system, which you are building, in DGP and provide your DGP ID via the DevConsole portal.

Why do I have to register my sub-systems on the DGP?

As per PMO(SNDGO) Circular Minute No. 4/2019 dated 21 May 2019, it mandates the requirements for Ministries, Organs of State, Departments and Statutory Boards (“Agencies”) to adopt the Whole-of- Government (WOG) DGP (“Platform”) for strengthening ICT&SS governance across public sector. TechBiz is integrated with DGP, and the information is automatically synchronised from DGP to DevConsole.

I am creating a system as a Proof of Concept (POC). Do I need to register it on DGP?

When a system is in POC state, it is not mandatory to register on DGP. However, when the POC becomes an active system, you must register it on DGP. For more information, approach your assigned DGP Agency Coordinator.

You are encouraged to refer to DGP - Role of Agency Coordinator and Contributor (accessible via GSIB device) for more details.

What is the difference between creating an account with multiple systems versus creating one account per system?

If an account is routed to multiple systems, you can share your resources across yor systems and a single invoice is generated. If you have more than one account, one for each product system, you can’t share resources across these accounts, and the accruing agency will be charged individually for each account.

While creating a system on the DevConsole portal, can I select more than one DGP sub-system?

Yes. You can select more than one sub-system that is associated with the account.

Can I still create Subscription Accounts from the TechBiz portal and access them from the DevConsole portal to manage my account?

Yes, you can. However, please note that access via the TechBiz portal will eventually be discontinued, and you will need to continue managing your account through the DevConsole portal.
