Dynamic datasets

Dynamic datasets provide real-time, constantly changing data that includes real-time bus and train arrival times, traffic conditions, traffic speed, and incident reports. These datasets update continuously and are essential for applications that need live transport information.

Extended OBU library

The extended OBU library refers to additional data that might be available for Vehicle Onboard Units or telematics systems that can be used for more specialised applications (e.g., GPS-based tracking for vehicles or buses). The inclusion of OBU data can support solutions like intelligent transportation systems or real-time vehicle tracking.

On-request datasets

On-request datasets refer to datasets that are not available via standard APIs but can be requested by users. These might be larger, more complex datasets or data that is available for specific research or planning purposes. Users can request these datasets through the Datamall’s system for specific analysis or to support their needs for transport-related research.

App zone

The app zone is a market place of land transport applications developed by third parties and LTA. These applications provide useful transport-related services from bus arrival time to live traffic conditions, parking availability around CBD and taxi booking services.
