Features
Tamper-resistant and cryptographically secure
With TrustDocs, even the slightest change to the document contents will be detected during verification. This eliminates the need for traditional mechanisms such as watermarks or tamper-proof materials.
Easy digital revocation
TrustDocs can be revoked digitally, such that already-circulated versions will have their status updated as revoked. Contrast this with traditional document formats such as hard copies or PDFs - where the only way to revoke is to collect and destroy versions that have already been circulated.
Machine readable
Since TrustDocs contain structured data, document verifications can be automated without needing human intervention. In traditional formats such as hard copies or PDFs, unstructured data means that the document still requires semantic sense-making.
One verifier for whole-of-government
With trustdocs.gov.sg, agencies no longer need to provide their own verification methods, while members of public can depend on a single trusted verifier across the Singapore Government.
