Overview
GovTech has been migrating an increasing number of projects to the Cloud. Operating and managing an environment consisting of multiple Clouds and services pose numerous challenges.
There is also a need to transform operations into 'x'Ops in order to support multiple projects within the GCC.

Melvin joined GovTech to design and build the GCC architecture, providing the ability to extend computing needs beyond on-premise technology into the next era of computing across the whole of Government.
After commissioning the GCC, he went on to lead the Operations team to ensure the continuity of the project.
Melvin currently leads the Infrastructure Engineering team to support several hosting platforms, including the GCC xOps – exploring different forms of operation in the GCC project. He is also one of the architects involved in shaping the Cloud Computing architecture and direction to support the Government Digital Blueprint.
Melvin is TOGAF-certified, a Microsoft-Certified Azure Solution Architect Expert, and a certified GCP Solution Architect Professional.
